Coginiti Privacy Policy

Coginiti Corp (“Coginiti,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a software company leading a new category of enterprise software that allows enterprises to manage their analytics as reusable assets.  As used herein, the terms “you,” “your,” and “yours” refer to the user or viewer of our website, the user of our applications or other individuals whose personal information may have been provided to us in connection with our lawful operation of our business.

We have designed our privacy and data protection policies and practices to earn and maintain your trust in us and ensure our ongoing compliance with applicable law. Our Privacy Policy applies to information collected by us through our website (www.coginiti.co) and applications available on our website, such as Coginiti Workbench™, Coginiti Pro™, and Coginiti Team™ as well as information provided by registrants to seminars, workshops and events attended by our personnel as well as other individuals expressing interest in our products or services.  This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, share and use your personal and how you can effectively exercise your privacy rights.

Our Privacy Policy does not apply to client information collected and maintained with Coginiti software in client environments, which may be subject to their own privacy policies. Information obtained from our business partners or collected in connection with our customer relationships may be subject to additional requirements or policies set forth in our agreements with such partners and customers.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, as your use of this website indicates to us that you have read and accepted our privacy practices. In addition, if you use any of our applications available on our website, please review the applicable End User Licensing Agreement (“EULA”) during your installation and use of such applications. This policy was last updated on April 11, 2023.  We reserve our right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and in such case, we will notify you of changes by posting such version of the Privacy Policy on our website.

We use reasonable and customary industry measures to safeguard sensitive personal information, which measures are appropriate to the type of information maintained and are in accordance with applicable laws for safeguarding such information under our control. If you purchase goods or services from our website, our authorized resellers will process your credit card and/or bank information, including with respect to the licensing of Coginiti Pro and Coginiti Team, in order to collect payment from you. In doing so, our authorized resellers are committed to follow industry standard policies and procedures for protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data. Unless you expressly elect to enable such authorized resellers to communicate with you for other purposes, any such data collected as part of processing such transaction will be used solely in furtherance of the sale of such goods or services or to enable the delivery, installation and support of licensed products. Information Collected Automatically by Us

When you visit our website, we may collect certain information automatically from your device. In some countries, including countries in the European Economic Area, this information may be considered personal information under applicable data protection laws.

Information Obtained from Third Party Sources

From time to time, we may receive personal information about you from third party sources who have checked that you have given your consent or are otherwise legally permitted or required to disclose your personal information to us. The collection of such information is necessary for us to fulfill our contract with our end users and ensure our compliance with applicable law, including, for example, verification that you are authorized to use our applications under applicable U.S. export laws.

We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal requirements).

Children’s Data

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of thirteen (13). If we learn that we have inadvertently obtained personal information from a child under the age of thirteen (13), we will delete that information as soon as practicable. You may request to review, correct, modify and/or delete any of the personal information that you have previously provided to us through our website, applications or otherwise. Requests to access, change, or delete your information will be addressed within a commercially reasonable timeframe.
