Business Development Representative

We’re seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. This is a critical role responsible for driving new business opportunities, engaging potential customers, and fueling the growth of Coginiti’s customer base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and research potential customers through various channels (e.g., LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking events, industry forums).
  • Qualify inbound leads and proactively reach out to target prospects to initiate meaningful conversations.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers through consistent outreach and follow-up.

Customer Engagement

  • Act as the first point of contact, delivering engaging pitches to introduce Coginiti’s products and services.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ business challenges and align them with Coginiti’s solutions.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or demos for account executives and technical teams.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to execute targeted campaigns and improve messaging strategies.
  • Track and record activities in CRM systems to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform go-to-market strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the tech or SaaS industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, cloud technologies, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
